could you please also point me some of your papers (or related work) where similar calculations are made for lower dimensional (3d, 2d) cases of \phi**4 theory?
As far as it goes, my computations for the scalar field theory do not distinguish the dimensionality. Anyhow, I will point out to you all the relevant published material:
There are two other recent works that are not yet published and these refer to exact solutions
I think that all these papers contain a consistent proof of the triviality of theory at any dimensionality and a new perturbation technique for strongly coupled theories (both classical and quantal). For Yang-Mills theory I was not able yet to extend the mapping theorem to dimensions different from four but I have worked out some back of envelope computations. This is nothing worth to be published at the moment.
Finally, I am currently working out a perturbation analysis at strong coupling of a Higgs field coupled to a Fermion. These computations are at a good point and I hope to put out a paper with the two-point functions and v.e.v. of the Higgs field properly renormalized in the near future.
